The tank is extremely accessible as it is located on the undercarriage at a reachable height.
Besides helping lower the centre of gravity, the lower-down position of the tank and its increased capacity also mean that the driver or fleet manager no longer has to carry out any operations at height, nor is there anything in the way when driving the vehicle. With the majority of other excavators still mounting the fuel tank in the upper carriage, filling up an mwr is as simple as it is safe. Because daily upkeep should always be risk-free.
User-friendly Connect ’attached’ to versatility
In order to make its machines ever safer and more versatile, mecalac introduces connect, its patented quick coupler, notable for its lightness, integration, user- friendliness, reversability and its perfect safety.
Controlled from the cab, there is zero risk of it detaching from the tool either while it is being connected or while in operation. It is equipped with a detection system that alerts the driver if the tool is improperly secured (with visual and audible signals). Not only that, but it is also reversible and has an automatic play compensation function, making the connect quick coupler the ultimate connection between tool and machine!

3 MODES DE TRAVAIL: Parking - Travail - Route, permettant d'adapter automatiquement les fonctionnalités de la machine au type d'utilisation.
LE MODE PARKING active le frein de parc et verrouille l'ensemble des commandes de la machine.
LE MODE TRAVAIL permet de conduire la machine en mode ISO :
- Gestion du régime moteur via potentiomètre,
- Manipulateur gauche: rotation tourelle et commande balancier,
- Manipulateur droit: Commande de la flèche ou du bec et du godet.

THE WORKING MODE allows for driving the machine with the ISO control pattern:

- Left joystick: swing and dipper stick control,
- Right joystick: boom or adjustable boom and bucket control.
THE ROADING MODE activates all machine functions necessary for driving on roads (driving function with foot pedal, unlocking the axles, turning on road lights, etc.)

WORK ASSISTANCE, INDEPENDENT FUNCTIONS:
CYLINDERS COUPLING FUNCTION: simultaneously combines the stick and intermediate boom cylinders to allow a simplified operation of the front linkage, identical to an excavator that would be equipped with a monoboom.
BUCKET CONTROL INVERSION: enables the operator to reverse the bucket opening/closing controls of the right joystick when the bucket is in reversed position: allows the operator not to change his/her operating habits.
ENGINE SPEED CONTROL by encoder OR foot pedal.

- Manipolatore destro: comando del primo braccio o del braccio intermedio e della benna.

FUNZIONI INDIPENDENTI DI AIUTO AL LAVORO
LA FUNZIONE ACCOPPIAMENTO DEI MARTINETTI combina simultaneamente i movimenti dei martinetti del bilanciere e del braccio intermedio per consentire una guida simile a quella di un escavatore con braccio monoblocco.
LA FUNZIONE DI INVERSIONE DEL SENSO DI COMANDO DELLA BENNA permette di invertire il senso di apertura e chiusura della benna col manipolatore destro in modo da ritrovare lo stesso senso di comando di una pala caricatrice.
